Miscellaneous Applications
We install epoxy and urethane sealers, curing compounds, penetrating and film forming sealers.
Penetrating Sealers penetrate concrete and masonry due to their small molecular size, and can act as a water repellant. However, these sealers may only be applied to surfaces after membrane forming sealers and most curing compounds have been removed.
Film Forming Sealers do not penetrate because of their larger molecular size. Most of the film forming sealers we install have a thickness of 1-5 mils. Curing Compounds aid in the curing of concrete and act as sealers and dust proofers after the concrete has cured.
Epoxy Sealers form a film and provide great adhesion to concrete; shotblasting may be required. They come in various colors and come in two forms; water-based and solvent-based.
Urethane Sealers have excellent gloss retention and abrasion resistance. Most are used as top coat for epoxies but some may be applied directly to concrete. These also come in water-based or solvent-based form.
